Colour Dispersion Company (CDC) is a leading Australian Company and is part of the Nuplex Industries group of companies
. CDC is dedicated to the formulation, manufacture and marketing of pigment dispersions and preparations. The company
was formed in September 1992. In February 2004, Nuplex Industries (Aust) Pty Ltd purchased the assets of Colour Dispersion Company.
The new assets will be managed within Culamix, a business operating under the Specialty Chemicals Division of Nuplex.
Culamix manufactures and markets colour and additive masterbatch and colour compounds to the Plastics Industry.
CDC will continue to supply expanding Australian as well as overseas markets.
The CDC team not only have considerable experience in a wide range of pigment dispersions, but are also
devoted to providing quality and service of the highest standard. At CDC people are regarded as the company’s
greatest asset and a feeling of teamwork and pride is passed on to customers in the form of outstanding products and customer services.
Colour Dispersion Company operates administration, laboratory and manufacturing facilities from 25 Hargraves Place, Wetherill Park, NSW
and distributes to all Australian States. The company’s products are used in plastics, rubber, foams, surface coatings, textiles, paper and composites.
The product range falls into six major groups:-
1. Aqueous Dispersions for paint, ink, textiles, paper and speciality chemicals.
2. 2 Epoxy Dispersion for two pack epoxy surface coatings and plastics. The dispersions can also be specially formulated for aqueous epoxies.
3 Fibreglass Dispersions based on unsaturated polyesters essentially for the composite industry. By not containing any
flammable components these dispersions provide safer handling properties.
4 . Phthalate Dispersions for plastics and rubber.
5 Plasticiser Dispersions for PVC extrusion, injection and blow moulding. These products are usually tailored to specific end users.
6. Polyol Dispersion for Polyurethane foams and elastomers.
