PHTHALATE PIGMENT DISPERSIONS

Phthalate Pigment Dispersions are concentrated dispersions of selected pigments in DOP (dioctyl phthalate). New pigments are regularly added to the range, and specials are catered for (with a minimum batch size required).

Features and Benefits

Standardisation.

The products in this range are standardised by mass. This means that you can be confident that a mass addition of these products will always yield the same strength and tone.

Non-Volatile-Content.

These products are 100% solids. This means that you know precisely what you are putting into your product. The essential ingredients are pigment and DOP. With some selected pigments, a small quantity of surfactant is added to assist in processing. This is always indicated on the data sheet for the particular product. By subtracting the pigment content from 100, you can calculate the amount of DOP in each product. You are therefore in a position to completely control how much plasticiser you are adding to your product, and to adjust your own formula accordingly.

Concentration.

With some exceptions, these products are highly concentrated. This means more colouring material for your dollar, resulting in both reduced costs and reduced amounts of added DOP plasticiser.
